Good Mirrors

Good Mirrors

Brief

Good Mirrors harnesses art, storytelling, and technology to address issues affecting the emotional well-being of Black women. Through research, cultural programming, and digital platforms, the organization works to surface overlooked narratives and create tools that support healing, reflection, and community.

They were looking to develop visual design assets that could communicate the organization’s mission while supporting its cultural initiatives and public-facing programs.

Solution

The visual direction represents moments of introspection through quiet compositions that emphasize space and stillness. As the organization expanded into a broader ecosystem that included Good Mirrors, Good Mirrors Institute, and the Good Mirrors Journal, the system was designed to remain cohesive while allowing each platform to maintain its own presence. A flexible visual language ensures consistency across research initiatives, editorial publishing, exhibitions, and digital platforms while reinforcing the core themes of visibility, reflection, and collective storytelling.
